Transport PlannerTurners (Soham) Ltd is the UK’s largest privately owned transport company. We are looking to recruit a Transport Planner, to be based at our Larkhall site. This is an exciting opportunity for a career in the logistics industry within a well-established distribution company.The main functions of the role are:-• Planning collections and deliveries• Scheduling the fleet ensuring drivers are allocated to vehicles and loads• Ensuring drivers are on track with their deliveries and collections• Dealing with any problems drivers may have while out on the road, liaising with the end customer• Administration support with tasks such as order entry, data input and cost controlRequirements:Educated to minimum Higher Grade standardComputer literateGood organisational skillsThe hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm but this can be discussed further during the interview.
