Working in our stores
We’re proud that our stores have been at the heart of the communities they serve for over 150 years,
united by a shared passion for food and putting customers first. As a Customer Delivery Driver, you’ll be the special ingredient that delivers customer orders straight to their doorsteps, along with energy, warmth and care, embracing our commitment to give our customers everything they choose to shop online with Sainsbury’s for, day in day out.
Important checks before you apply
- You must be over 18 years old and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it
- You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and, if you’re successful, there’ll be a driving assessment when you join us
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
- Sainsbury’s has created a safer driving environment by installing in-cab AI cameras that monitor driver behaviour and help ensure compliance with road laws and defensive‑driving standards to protect drivers and other road users
