About the Role
Role: Driver & Operations Assistant
Location: London, UK
Positions Available: 1 Full-time | 1–2 Part-time (primarily September peak season)
Salary: Full-time: Competitive (DOE) | Part-time: £15/hour
Working Hours: Full-time: Mon–Fri, 09:00–18:00 (Flexibility required during peak periods) | Part-time: Flexible (mornings, evenings, weekends based on arrival schedules)
Role Overview
This is a hands-on, varied role combining driving, airport transfers, minor property maintenance, and operational support. During the peak September arrival season, duties focus on student airport transfers. Outside peak periods, the role shifts to property inspections, basic repairs, furniture assembly, and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide airport pick-up/drop-off services across all major London airports (LHR, LGW, STN, LTN, LCY).
- Drive 8–9 seater vehicles (Manual & Automatic for Full-time; experience required for Part-time).
- Assist students with luggage and ensure safe, welcoming transit to their accommodation.
- Manage key deliveries, property item transport, and daily driving schedules.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, routine checks, and coordinate MOT/servicing.
- Assist with property preparation, inspections, and move-in support.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years with a clean record.
- Experience driving 8–9 seater vehicles.
- Fluent in spoken Mandarin (essential for serving Chinese international students).
- Good physical condition for handling luggage and basic property tasks.
- Flexible working hours during peak operational periods.
Desirable
- Experience in property maintenance, handyman work, passenger transport, or student accommodation operations.
- Strong familiarity with London roads, routes, and airports.
