Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Part-time Driver to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery van to transport goods across designated routes.
- Load and unload packages, often involving heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety protocols.
- Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate documentation of all deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to uphold safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven delivery driver experience or similar roles involving commercial driving.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving vans or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading packages.
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with logistics or inventory management.
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic laws, and safety regulations related to commercial driving.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible part-time hours in a fast-paced environment.
