Responsibilities
- Safely operate various vehicles, including vans and luxury cars, ensuring smooth and timely transportation of clients.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or heavy items, demonstrating physical strength and proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding pick-up times, routes, and any delays or changes.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to any unforeseen issues or emergencies during transit, coordinating with emergency services if necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience as a van driver or commercial driver with a strong understanding of safe driving practices.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; familiarity with heavy lifting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures to identify issues early and ensure vehicle reliability.
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS systems and local knowledge of routes.
- Physical stamina for extended periods of driving and handling luggage or cargo as needed.
