Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, stocking, and shipping. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform picking and packing duties for outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment, utilising our hand scanner devices
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods from lorries and containers.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment operation, including forklifts.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) not regularly but on occasion.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when picking and packing orders.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
