Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Deliver goods to various locations promptly and efficiently, ensuring accurate order fulfilment
Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting when necessary
Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery logs and vehicle checklists
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks during operations

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
Valid driver’s licence
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
Ability to organise workload efficiently and manage time effectively
Knowledge of routes and traffic patterns is advantageous
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and service quality

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
