Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to join our Windowstore branch in Slough. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations and managing all aspects of the branch's partnership with Evander. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, off-load, and check glass deliveries, ensuring all products are accounted for and free from damage.

Receive, off-load, and check frame deliveries against delivery documentation.

Liaise with Evander fitters to prepare and organise products for dispatch.

Review job sheets and accurately collate all required products for each job.

Pick, list, and prepare all ancillary products for invoicing and dispatch.

Ensure all orders are prepared accurately and efficiently to meet customer and installer requirements.

Assist other Windowstore branch staff with operational and customer service activities as required.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.

Support stock control activities, including checking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.

Follow all company health and safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.

Undertake general warehouse duties as required.
Skills and Experience
Essential

Previous warehouse or stores experience.

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to read and interpret job sheets and delivery documentation.

Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills.

Physically capable of handling warehouse duties and manual handling tasks.
Desirable

Experience within the glazing, window, building products, or construction industry.

Forklift Truck Licence

Knowledge of stock control and warehouse management processes.
